Here is a question: are you working away from home just to make it so you can offer your family a better life, are you serving the country somewhere far away, are you in the forces and you are away from home most of the day, did you emigrated in another coutry and your fmily misses you, do you have family members that they didn’t see you for years? Ufffffff… and the question is not done…
Maybe I sould’ve tell you: Here’s a bunch of questions…
Anyway, I bet you are recognizing yourself in one of the situation. I know I am in one of them and I know that my family misses me like crazy… So, I found a really nice easy way to make that easier for them: photo fridge magnets.
My idea was simple: one of our me and my wife nice pictures, a message on it, something like: “Good morning!”, put it on a magnet and send it to my parents. But I though that ones I send it to them, why not to some other relatives and friends? So, the plan was easy and I was going for it.
I tried to do it myself with magnetic paper from the store on my printer, but it looked like I was a first grader trying a new project and failed with F-… So I search the net for a company to make me that magnets. I found some and I was ready to order but I realized that they wanted me to order minimum 500! I was shocked! Hmmmm. Now it was the moment when I almost dropped the project, but I stumbled in one site that did the work for me really nice and at the right price, not talking that the minimum order is 2 magnets two!!!. So I gone with them: www.mainmag.net . Even the name of the website has a meaning. And I got the magnets in the mailbox, I ordered 20. They looked so professional and so apealing that I kept 2 for myself and I had to shorten my list of people that I wanted to send to. One is on our fridge and the other one is in my wife’s office.
So, the conclusion is that when I called my parents the next time I had the confirmation that my plan was good: “Everytime when we are opening the fridge, we are thinking of you and it seems that you are closer!” So… job well done! Yeeeeeey for me!

And they are very effective. My parents are thrilled. So do I knowing that I did something nice for them.
